Groups, Privacy, and Expiry

Control who sees what, and for how long.

Updated over a week ago

News stories in Fabricloop can be added to one or more groups, helping you organize updates by project, team, or topic. This makes it easy for users to find relevant information without sorting through noise.

On the Premium plan, you can also assign a story to a private group, where it’s only visible to group members. This is ideal for:

  • Leadership updates

  • Confidential announcements

  • Sensitive or invite-only discussions

By default, every news story has a 1-year expiry, after which it no longer appears in the feed. You can adjust this at any time to shorten or extend visibility based on how long the story should remain relevant.

Only the author or a workspace admin/owner can edit a published story.
